The Staff at the Eagle Village Health Centre started a Health Centre Newsletter that contained health information in June 2002. They felt that it was a great way to share information with the local community members. Nine months later the "Migizy Odenaw Mazinaigan" our community news letter began publication in February 2003. Chief and Council made the decision to expand the Health Centres newsletter to include information from other departments. It was later decided that all band members would be mailed a copy of the newsletter regardless if they lived on or off reserve, in different provinces or for that matter in a different country. The newsletter is comprised of information and articles submitted by the different programs, departments, services and organizations within our community. You will also find community wishes announcements, healthy recipes, community pictures, job postings, upcoming events and and community calendar. Do you have anything for the newsletter??
